Education Programmes — Heritage Council
We have worked with the Heritage Council on various projects including a review of the Heritage in Schools scheme resulting in a strategy for expansion, and a scoping study for a web-based heritage resource for schools. An audit of suitable web-based Irish heritage information already available to schools was undertaken in the interests of optimising resource use and to avoid re-inventing the wheel and these are listed on the Council’s website. Recommendations on a future strategy for provision of web-based resources for schools were provided on this basis.
